Common sections only. Salary 192 lives on the salary page. Thresholds can be annual — this page sees one amount.

Last updated 27 August 2026 · not a filing

One invoice. One section. Not a TAN product.

194C contractor 1%/2%, 194I rent, 194J professional 10%, 194A interest 10%, 194Q 0.1% on goods over the threshold. Thresholds here are the common single-payment / annual folklore baked into the script — the Finance Act and CBDT circulars still win. This is not a scrape of every 194-series section.

Worked example: ₹50,000 professional fee, 194J, individual deductee

Over ₹30,000 threshold. 10% → ₹5,000 TDS. Net ₹45,000. If you already paid them ₹25,000 earlier this year, the threshold story is annual and this page cannot see that.
